resources and affiliates. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() IFSHA (www.FriesianShowHorse.com) - The International Friesian Show Horse Association (IFSHA) is dedicated to the promotion, showing, and exhibition of the Friesian Horse and its derivatives. For information about membership and special interest programs available to ISFHA members, please visit the ISFHA website. FHS (www.FriesianHorseSociety.com) - is a non-profit organization whose mission is to both promote and preserve the beautiful Friesian horse through education and strict registration standards, as originated in the Netherlands for this Dutch breed. FHANA (www.FHANA.com) - The Friesian Horse Horse Association of North America (FHANA) provides information and resources for Friesian owners, breeders as well as Friesian fans. There are numerous FHANA chapters throughout North America. The FHANA website also includes information about FPS Registry and Inspections. FPZV - USA (www.FPZVusa.com) - The FPZV-USA (American Secretary to the Friesenpferde Zuchtverband E.V.) is committed to providing services to Friesian horse members; to interpreting and communicating all official business of the FPZV; and to promoting the Friesian breed, the FPZV and their members' Friesian horses. FBHR (www.friesianbloodhorseregistry.com) - The FBHR (Friesian Blood Horse Registry) welcomes the purebred Friesian, as well as the Friesian crossbred. Membership benefits include a subscription to the Friesian Blood & Baroque Horse magazine and discounts on ads, inspections by qualified judges, and discounted stud fees to several stallions. Friesian Heritage Horse (www.FriesianHeritage.com) - The Friesian Heritage Horse & Sporthorse International is the fastest growing registry in the USA for registering Friesians, Friesian Sport Horses, and horses of Friesian heritage. Basic registration is simple, straightforward, and affordable and requires no membership fee. Friesian Sporthorse Association (www.FriesianSporthorseAssociation.com) - The first and only registry dedicated exclusively to recognizing and promoting the true Friesian Sporthorse™. FPS (www.fps-studbook.com) - FPS is the Netherlands' oldest and second largest studbook. At this time there are about 40,000 Friesian horses registered. FPS attends to the studbook administration for the entire world, thus guarding the interests of the breed. The organization also works closely with breeding associations operating under the auspices of FPS in other countries. CFHA (www.canadianfriesianhorse.ca) - The Canadian Friesian Horse Association will strive to assist Canadian breeders, owners, and Friesian enthusiasts to access affordable professional advice and services in order to breed, register, evaluate and award these magnificent animals in accordance with the breeding standards and rules of their mother studbooks and the Canadian Animal Pedigree act. ADS (www.AmericanDrivingSociety.org) - The American Driving Society (ADS) was founded in 1974 and supports the sport of Carriage Driving in the United States. Join fellow carriage drivers in supporting your sport through membership in the ADS. The ADS offers many membership benefits including awards programs for the Junior, Pleasure Competition, and Recreational Driver. AFA (www.americanfriesianasociation.com) - The American Friesian Association was organized in 2004 by a group of Friesian enthusiasts who recognized the need for an American-based registry for purebred and partbred Friesian horses. The AFA's mission is to preserve and promote the purebred Friesian horse in America, to promote the Friesian Warmblood (partbred) horse in America, and to serve the needs of the owners and breeders of these horses.
